Interdisciplinary Collaboration, Experiential Learning, and Community-Driven Education
I frequently collaborate with experts in teacher education and social sciences to integrate research findings into K-12 teaching and to learn from teachers and the larger community about critical needs that research needs to address. As part of these collaborations, we work on place-based education, standard aligned concepts, culturally sustainable teaching, and community input for water research and education.
